SyeComp Expands Partnership with CropLife Ghana to Enrich Agriculture in Ghana
Accra: March 20, 2020: Enabling access to digital farm management tools and bundled digital technologies, including financial products, could help African smallholder farmers overcome common challenges in prioritising farming actions, labour and water shortage, and misapplication of crop protection inputs.
SyeComp proudly announces its expanded partnership with CropLife Ghana. Through this partnership, the two entities will work together to bring to scale digital farming technology to smallholder food producers in Ghana.
SyeComp remains committed to helping smallholder farmers grow more with less, while tackling agricultural challenges that shape its operational countries in Africa.
According to Edna Ovulley, SyeComp’s Chief Product Manager, this expanded partnership agreement seeks to address deep systemic constraints in Ghana’s agricultural sector and aim to incentivise other likeminded institutions to join to deliver the much needed impact.
“We are pleased to renew and expand this collaboration with SyeComp to drive impact at scale in Ghana’s agrifood system with focus on rural smallholder food producers and agribusinesses”, says Frederick B. Boampong, CropLife Ghana Program Manager.
Since 2016, the two organizations have been collaborating in areas of mutual benefit to enrich agriculture in Ghana.
