Consultancy: Creation of E-Learning Modules for Agriculture in Africa Media

Agriculture in Africa Media is a specialised news media service driving quality agri-focused news and conversations on the African continent. In a quest to enrich content access to its vast readers, the service intends developing e-learning modules for key value chain domains. SyeComp provides technical advisory and currently serves as the host institution for the service.

Syecomp seeks to hire an Individual Expert or Consulting Firm that will develop a total of 26 e-learning modules for Agriculture in Africa Media platform. The content of the modules will be based on existing technical knowledge that will be provided by the engaged Individual Expert or Consulting Firm.

The modules will be developed in English to be implemented with agronomists, Syecomp Field Personnel and farmers. Interested individuals or firms will fulfill the following requirements:

i) At least 2 years of experience in the development of online training materials;

ii) Team of experts with experience in developing e-learning and adult learning. Experience working with rural populations and agriculture highly desirable,

iii) Demonstrated experience in incorporating various instructional methods and design elements in the development of materials,

iv) Fluency in English; and

v) Local presence in Africa is highly desirable but not a requirement
